Overview
Da Vinci Motel was a branded film for Meta, produced in partnership with Hyundai’s Da Vinci Motel pop-up experience in Seoul. The project showcased Meta’s AR/MR workflow and demonstrated how its technology can be activated flexibly across brand environments.
As Producer at Jack Morton, I led the production in close collaboration with Meta’s Korea office, overseeing delivery across markets and time zones.
Production Approach
The project required cross-border coordination under evolving conditions. I structured the production to remain agile — aligning script development, interview subjects, and shot planning with shifting on-site realities while maintaining stakeholder clarity.
To ensure seamless local execution, I appointed a bilingual Seoul-based producer to represent our team on the ground, liaise directly with Meta, and manage real-time issue resolution. This allowed for responsive decision-making while maintaining oversight from our regional base.
Outcome
The film was delivered on schedule and aligned with Meta’s strategic objectives, clearly communicating its AR/MR capabilities while reflecting a coordinated, cross-market production process.
